IFi Go Link Max...not Penon Go Link Max
Thanks to Ben for patiently seeing me through firmware update. Original sound not correct and the new firmware completely restored the volume quantity and quality. An amazing sounding dongle. I have the original iFi Go Link, but wanted some 4.4mm power. This dongle is absolutely top of the sound quality tree. Using it with the Tansio Mirai 10th, the Penon 10th, the Penon Fan 3 and an old favourite bud, the Rose Masya Mk II Pro......all are upgraded to another level. The dongle runs warm, not hot and the detail and treble excellent. Bass is an upgrade on the OG Go Link 3.5mm, and the Penon house sound mids are brought up a level by the iFi house sound, particularly the Fan 3. DAPs are becoming outdated by such a great sounding Dongle like this Penon Go Link MAX. 5* out of 5.
For the price this device has restarted my love for headphones. Nice clear punchy sound.
