These are interesting IEMs... A single driver stainless steel traditional in ear. They are highly accurate and if I could sum them up it would be "Warm Timbre" these little things sound solid, it's a really firm sound, although they need to be driven. These are 93db sensitivity so will struggle on lesser powered devices. The thing holding these back from perfection is they are just a little too warm in the highs... Not that the highs are not good because they are, they are just slightly back in the sound signature. The bass accuracy is sensational, firm, sharp and accurate, enough to satisfy bass heads but not harsh enough to scare off those who prefer a more natural sound. I have Shure 846s and the bass competes with them which is no small fete.
I am unsure what genre suits them best, I think they are a suitable all rounder and pair wonderfully with my AK SR25 MKII, I had a Sony A306 priory that didn't have the power to drive them.
I do get better detail in the highs when I use a banlced cable with my AK SR25 MKII, however I am unsure if this will apply to all devices but it's definitely something to highlight.
The cable quality and build quality is first class, and carry case is a clever and cool addition.
I have read some reviews that suggest using after market foam tips which help bring these even more to life which I am still yet to try, but based on the numerous reviews this does help bring out the treble more.
