Hard to believe these were refurbished to be honest. Arrived promptly and in all the original packaging with all original accessories and looked bramd new. I had a few issues connecting to my Series X at first after completing the necessary update to the headset and dongle. Many reboots and reconnecting and I got there. They have operated flawlessly since. Ben was really great amd emailed me back on a Friday quite late, and the customer service at hifiheadphones has been great, inspiring confidence. Of course the headset itself is amazing, moving from Steel Series its a major upgrade (Love Atmos) and it also sounds amazing with LDAC bluetooth with music as well. Cannot recommend highly enough.
arrived in perfect condition and work flawlessly so far. Low on bass for my tastes on the defult EQ, but can sound amazing when u tweak it to ur tastes. (Just use google, I found some good example EQs on a reddit post).
Wireless seems good to me, very clear, altho can be a pause when skip through a song or a video (not an issue for me just different to my old wired headphones). Have been told the mic sounds good from the other end. Charging and battery life have been great so far.
They are heavy and chunky, and although comfy for me once i adjusted the headstrap a tad, others might find the weight and clamping force a bit much. Seem to me that they are sit and listen phones, I wouldnt want to jump around or move suddenly wearing them, but also... they are expensive planar headphones, why would you?!
Read a few horror stories that the fancy membranes and drivers can be quite fragile, but was in perfect condition out of the box, and seem very well made so far. Just dont do gymnastics wearing them....
As others reviewers have mentioned, these refurbished units look absolutely brand new, and for such an amazing set of headphones, at such a great price, I highly recommend purchasing here. Delivery was fast too, and I’m over the moon!
Very jazzy. No issues. You couldn’t tell they were refurbished as they look brand new.
I didn't want to wait for my pre-order so decided to order a refurbished Audeze Maxwell and i have been so impressed with them so far, the headphones themselves looked brand new and all the items in the box too, saved myself some money and got them next day, fantastic customer service too from Hifiheadphones, happy to help with all of my questions, would definitely use again in future.
